I LOVE their al pastor and carne asada tacos! This taco truck is mine and my boyfriend's go-to late night grub spot. Don't forget to get the red salsa if you can handle your spice! The service is always amazing; workers are sweet and nice. Location wise, there's mostly always parking behind the taco truck, and I've never had any issues with it.

El Paladar Oaxaqueno Taco Truck ----------------------------------- Bomb af! Came here on a whim because my friends and I were hungry after the gym at 1am. I ordered different tacos: carne asada, Al pastor and chicken. I asked for everything on it which includes onions, cilantro, avocado, sour cream but without quesillo. They also have 3 different sauces that you can add and are free. I normally am not a super big fan of Al Pastor but omg it was so yummy! The meat was seasoned perfectly with each bite. I definitely recommend trying the al pastor tacos here. Their carne asada tacos were good but nothing too crazy or more amazing from other ones I've had. The asada with all the toppings and sauces were paired nicely. Lastly, the chicken was alright. It was honestly mid for me and thought they should have seasoned it. My food was made fairly quickly in about 10 minutes but also since it was 1am it was not busy at all. They also have tables outsides for you to chill there and eat. I definitely would come back for the Al pastor tacos. I am also curious to try their other foods on the menu like tortas, quesadilla, and burritos. 8/10

I absolutely adore their tacos and always go for the same three types - Chorizo, Al Pastor, and Asada. The food truck has excellent lighting in a safe and secure neighborhood in Santa Monica. Plus, they've got tables and chairs ready for you to enjoy your meal there. The best part is that you can even watch the chefs cook and prepare your tacos!

3.5 stars but the cashier lady is sweet and kind, gave me extra condiments and has a great attitude. Now onto the food: I got asada, lengua, and tasajo for some late-night munchies. Asada: meh, not dry nor flavorful. It literally tasted like unmarinaded steamed meat. No texture, just soft. Juicy but, no likey. Not even salt saved it. Lengua: soft and juicy, a bit weak on vat flavor but went well with salt and the salsa roja and guacasalsa. Tasajo: highlight of tonight. My first time having Oaxaca-style beef slices and it was quite well-seasoned with a good meat bite. Went great with their grilled (not caramelized) onions. Get. Salsa honestly weak. Roja has no flavor, one dimensional. Needs more roasted or combination of chiles. Spicy tho. Guacasalsa is one dimensional as well, I didn't quite taste much lmao. Sauce? The condiments of spicy marinaded cucumber/habanero/raw onion is quite good and a nice bonus. The grilled onion is quite noice and hot, an excellent snack even by itself. They gave me a whole lime cut into 1/8ths for 3 tacos haha Champurrado, hot and steam for a good night. Not as flavorful as some I had before but for $3.50, I'd definitely say yaaassss.

This place is delicious! I've ordered the asada burrito two times now, and it never fails to satisfy. Also, $8 for a burrito is hard to beat. They are pretty quick with making your order, and I'm happy they have Apple Pay. There are a few plastic chairs and tables on the sidewalk, but I wouldn't bank on available seating - you'll mostly have to take this out to eat elsewhere.
